The New England Patriots tied their longest winning run since the Brady period as they defeated division rivals the Jets by 13 points in professional football

First-year standout Henderson led the way with three TDs as the Patriots secured an eighth straight win for the initial occasion since legendary quarterback Brady's closing campaign with the team in the 2019 season

Signal-caller Drake Maye passed for 281 yards and a TD, connecting on 25 out of 34 attempts

Victory increases the Patriots lead at the top of the AFC East as they moved to a 9-2 record, with the Jets at the foot after falling to two wins and eight losses

The visitors had taken the lead at Gillette Stadium with QB Justin Fields running in a short rushing score to conclude the Jets' opening drive

But the Patriots fought back in the second period as the rookie ran in two short rushing scores before the ball carrier hauled in a throw from Drake Maye at the back of the endzone in the middle of the third quarter to make it 21 to 7

"It was a crucial moment for him delivering, and it's been great for him to keep gaining experience," the quarterback commented on the rookie. "He wants to be outstanding."

Justin Fields found John Metchie in the latter part of the third period to narrow the deficit for the visitors but Andy Borregales booted a two kicks in the fourth quarter as the Patriots closed out the triumph
