British Airways revealed that the no-cost, “fast and dependable” wifi provision via the satellite provider will be offered to passengers in coach, premium economy, or premium cabins as of next month.
The parent company of British Airways, the airline group, stated it had secured an partnership with the satellite firm for providing wifi services across 500-plus jets across their airlines, which also include the Irish airline, Iberia, plus the low-cost airline.
British Airways noted that the rollout for the system was part of a multi-billion pound “upgrade” initiative and would deliver lag-free wifi service to passengers starting at boarding to landing, also when in flight above large bodies of water or remote regions.
